- Print coupons from major coupon printing sites. More stores than ever allow these, just make sure you follow the store coupon policies that are outlined in Shopping Tips 101. Most stores will also take these coupons in black and white, so set your printer to "draft" or "quick print" in "black & white" or "greyscale" to use less ink and save more money. Here's where you find them:
- Be sure to also check out the Newest Printables. When they become available they are usually matched up with a sale that you can use them on to save more.
- Tearpads, hangtags, displays and sampling events all often yield coupons as well. Watch for these in stores for instant savings.
- You can also find coupons in many magazines. All You Magazine is by far the subscription that pays for itself the fastest. You can also check out Discounted Magazine Subscription offers on Sarah's Deals that can save you money.
- If there is a specific company that you like products from, write to that company and ask to be added to their mailing list. Many companies reserve their best coupons for their email and snail mail lists. You can check out the Mail Call Monday series at Sarah's Deals to see what companies are known to send coupons.
- Many times you also get coupons when you Sign up for Freebies as well. Many times a high value coupon comes with a sample to entice you to buy the product. Wait for the right sale and you've got a deal.
- Get them from friends and family. If you have people in your life that get the paper, have a computer or magazines and don't use coupons, it never hurts to ask them for the coupons. It's an easy way to accumulate extras for a great sale without buying more papers or magazines. If they do use coupons, chances are they use different products than you and swapping might be a benefit to everyone involved.
Do you find coupons other places? I'd love to hear!
